Screen Printing or Digital Printing?
Screen Printing or Digital Printing?

Screen Printing or Digital Printing?

Deciding between screen printing and digital printing—especially for producing nameplates—can be a challenge. Not sure which to choose? Consider the necessary quantity, the desired end-use of the product, its environment, and the surface to which the product will be applied. Other important aspects include the colors required to achieve a certain aesthetic as well as the complexity of the design. These factors determine the best materials, ink, and printing process to use.

When printing on metal substrates, Specialty Printing & Processing offers single color and multicolor digital or screen printing. Multicolor printing requires individual passes for each color. Digital printing is less labor-intensive and quicker for short production runs, but it has limitations spot color matching while screen printing has better suited for low-volume work.
